Installing Mobile RPG on Windows Platforms

This document describes the process of installing Mobile RPG components and the Mobile RPG development environment (Visual Studio) on Windows machines.

Install the Mobile RPG Development Environment

On each PC on which you will do ASNA Mobile RPG Development work

NOTE: To install the PC components be sure you are logged into the PC as an administrator.

1. Install Visual Studio 2022

2. Install ASNA Mobile RPG

On the Windows Web Server

  1. Internet Information Server (IIS) – This is the HTTP server that comes with Windows Server 2008 R2 or 2012.
  2. ASNA DataGate Webpak – This provides ASNA Mobile RPG the runtime access to the IBM i.
