Ensure your Program is ILE RPG with External WRKSTN Definitions

This topic discusses the basic prerequisites of ensuring your RPG program is compatible with Mobile RPG.

While any programs developed with Mobile RPG will naturally fucntion correctly with it, you may wish to modify other programs to interface with Mobile Display Files. In order to function with Mobile, such programs must be in RPG ILE. RPG IV and earlier programs will need to be converted to RPG ILE before Mobile RPG will work with them.

Additionally, all programs to be used with Mobile RPG must have external WRKSTN definitions. If the programs do not have external WRKSTN definitions they simply will not work with Mobile RPG.
