As you install Visual RPG for Visual Studio 2022, you will have the opportunity to choose among several different installation and setup options. This topic will help you familiarize yourself with these options, and direct you to appropriate help.
To Install Visual RPG from a Download
- Go to the ASNA product downloads site at http://devnet.ASNA.com/downloads/Pages/ASNA140ProductSuite.aspx and log in (create an account if you haven't already).
- Click on Visual RPG 17.0 for Visual Studio 2022 in the General Availability section. Your browser will download the latest version.
- Open your browser's downloads folder, and click on the avr-setup-17.0.XX.0.exe file (labelled ASNA Visual RPG for .NET ).
- The ASNA Installer will run, ensuring that your hardware and software are compatible and prompting you to configure the new installation of Visual RPG.
To Install Visual RPG from CD
Visual RPG is not generally available on CD
- After the setup file is located, the Welcome screen will display. Follow the instructions on the screen. The main screens that will occur are:
