What Are Groupings?

Groupings are sets of filters or organizations imposed on the Flight Plan members (largely through the Group Sources dialog) that alter the way the files are ordered for the user. Groupings directly affect the ordering of members in the Source Tree on the Flight Plan Window, allowing users to sort through the members by whichever tags are most important to that particular project.

Multiple groupings can be very helpful for planning modernization in stages or for multiple departments. The data for groupings is stored in a grouping elements of the flight plan schema (.wflp).
