ASNA Monarch™ Framework 9.0

DdsField.InvertFontColor Property

Gets or sets whether to invert the font and background colors of the field.

Syntax

BegProp InvertFontColor Access(*Public) Type(Boolean)
   BegGet;  BegSet

Property Values

Boolean. If True, colors for the font and background are inverted. If the background color is transparent, "white" will be used instead.

Remarks

To set the InvertFontColor property, click on the right hand side of the property window and select True or False.

The property operates by swapping the CSS styles color and background-color.

To produce a nicer effect, consider reconfiguringing the WebControl ForeColor and BackColor propertites when using white background on Pages (very common).

Just having the following property:

InvertFontColors="*True"

produces the "Before" rendering on the image below. Adding "ForeColor" and "BackColor":

ForeColor="LightGray"
   BackColor="Black"
   InvertFontColors="*True"

Produces the "After" rendering on the image below:

This property is primarily intended to support migration of the DSPATR:RI keyword.
